If you are an experienced freelance writer, or someone who would like to know more about writing for the print media, you are invited to attend a free workshop on Thursday, November 6, 7-9pm at Kelly Square in Sherman. Here’s your chance to get inside tips directly from editor-in-chief Edward Southerland, on how to submit your work for consideration.
Learn what kind of stories we’re looking for and increase your chances of acceptance for publication. As a Texoma Living! writer you can earn up to 12-cents a published word for a major story, and be read in the market’s most popular magazine.
If you are a newcomer to freelance writing, you’ll learn exactly what it takes to get published with tips on identifying interesting subjects, conducting interviews, and constructing a solid feature article. Spend time with some of our best writers who will be attending the workshop and sharing their own experiences. Seating is limited.
